Meet the Tyler Network Characters:
"Never let them know your full capacity."
Danny Tyler spent four years trying to be someone he wasn't. He had a fiancée in Maryland, a quiet life, and a plan that kept him far from his family's business in South Florida.
Then his family pulled him back. At Evangeline in Fort Lauderdale, an empty chair waited between his father and his brother, and Danny knew he was being maneuvered before he sat down.
Danny is the brains of the Tyler operation. He's quiet, observant, and usually three steps ahead of everyone in the room. When the FBI raid tears the family apart, the CIA makes him an offer he can't refuse. They made him an asset. He's becoming a threat.

"We're not just surviving. We're building leverage."
Laura Donovan walks into a room and finds every exit before she sits down. The CIA recruited her in Tokyo at twenty-three, and everything she has done since has been deliberate.
Danny Tyler was supposed to be an assignment. She becomes his handler, then his partner, then his co-conspirator in something the Agency never approved. Laura breaks protocol, but not because she's reckless. She has seen what following it costs.
She doesn't flirt, doesn't waste words, and doesn't let her guard drop. When she does, it means something.
Role: CIA operations officer
Age: Late twenties

Every family has the one who stayed. When Danny walked away, Randy Tyler didn't. He held the family together and took over the Florida side of the business, most of it running through real estate.
Randy is everything his younger brother isn't: big, loud, flashy, and impossible to miss. Versace shirts, a gold Rolex, and the kind of energy that owns a room the second he walks in. He's the muscle to Danny's brains, and he's loyal to the bone.
But watch the Rolex. When Randy adjusts it, something is wrong.
Role: Danny's older brother, runs the Florida operation
Age: 31

"It's time you came back to the family."
Tommy Tyler sits at the head of the table and still believes the world revolves around him. He can light up a room and freeze it with the same look, seconds apart. Warm one second, menacing the next.
He's Danny and Randy's father, the charismatic and dangerous head of the Tyler family. The gray at his temples and the hollows around his eyes tell part of his story. Danny learned the rest growing up, which is part of why he left.
Now Tommy wants his son back, and he's happy to use charm and pressure in the same breath to get him.

"You're not an employee. You're an asset. And assets are useful... until they're not."
Adam Freeman has been around the Tyler family for as long as Danny can remember. Nobody ever explained why.
He's CIA. He's the best-dressed man in any room and the quietest one in it. He doesn't fidget, doesn't rush, and never says more than he needs to. When his blue eyes go flat, the conversation is over.
After the FBI raid, Adam is the one who brings Danny in. He doesn't recruit people. He positions them. The question is what he has been positioning Danny for.
Role: CIA, Danny's recruiter and mentor
Age: Sixties

Dmitri Kovalenko came to Miami wanting the Tylers to bring trafficking into their operation. Danny and Randy said no.
He didn't argue. He didn't threaten. He just remembered.
A Ukrainian crime figure with a fighter's build and a military crop, Dmitri never raises his voice. He doesn't need to. There's a stillness to him that isn't calm. It's compression. Other men calculate. Dmitri has already decided, and he's in no hurry.
